People say that the eyes are the window to the soul. The eyes are also the area on the face that can send a message of tiredness, stress, anger and age.
The lines, wrinkles and sagging around our eyes can come about for many reasons:
- Repetitive facial movements
- Loss of collagen in the skin
- Decrease in elasticity of the skin
- Loss of volume in the skin
- UV damage
- Bone loss that occurs with age

MicroLaser Peel/ Profraction
The MicroLaser Peel/Profraction is a computer guided laser resurfacing procedure. With our top of the line Sciton Laser, Dr. Madsen can resurface your skin.
The MicroLaser Peel is used to eliminate the damaged outer layers and Profraction is used to reach the deep dermal layer of the skin by forming thousands of tiny channels to stimulate collagen. The new collagen that develops will thicken and tighten the skin, improving skin tone and texture.
Botox® is FDA-approved for the temporary treatment of frown lines and brow furrows. It is fast, effective and perfect for someone who is interested in reducing and preventing the appearance or deepening of wrinkles. Botox can be used to raise the eyebrows and the skin above the eyes, bringing energy and vitality back to the face.
Botox has a unique ability to relax even the strongest muscles of the face and neck. By using tiny injections directly into these muscles the transmitters that cause muscle contractions will be blocked and the muscles will relax to give a more relaxed appearance. When the movement is decreased, the creases are diminished. If a regular schedule of Botox is maintained then the appearance of lines will be reduced when the face is at rest.
New Image Laser Skin Center is unique in pricing for Botox and Dysport injections. Many facilities charge per area; one area being the forehead, another the glabellar lines, another the crow’s feet, etc.
This method of pricing can mean higher cost for the client as they may be paying for more injections than they need or are getting. New Image charges for each unit that is administered. For example: in area pricing it is not uncommon to see a charge of $250 per area, so a client is spending as much as $750 to treat 3 areas versus when charging per unit we see a range of $300 to $500 total for the same areas.
Botox®: $11 per unit
Injectable facial fillers are a safe, smooth, gel filler that instantly smooth away wrinkles around the eyes. They can be used to fill glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), and to reduce the appearance of hallow looking eyes that can come with age; and diminishing cheek bones and facial tissue.
The deep wrinkles and folds on the face are caused by multiple things, one of which is a decrease in the body’s production of hyaluronic acid which results in volume loss. Facial fillers replace lost hyaluronic acid which instantly improves your appearance by smoothing the wrinkles and folds.
Fillers are commonly used in tandem with Botox®. Fillers are used to correct static wrinkles(meaning wrinkles that persist when the face is at rest), while Botox diminishes dynamic wrinkles caused from the movement of facial muscles.
1st syringe: $550
2nd syringe: $500
*Any syringe purchased beyond the first syringe must be administered within 8 weeks of the first syringe to receive the reduced pricing.

The HydraFacial is a new technology in skin health that treats a variety of skin conditions in a soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective manner.
A HydraFacial is very healthy for your skin because of its cleansing and hydrating functions. It removes dead skin cells (by way of exfoliation and sometimes microdermabrasion) and impurities, and it bathes the skin with cleansing, hydrating, and moisturizing skin solutions. These functions separate it from all other facials and skin resurfacing procedures.
The HydraFacial is good for all skin types. Just one HydraFacial can detoxify your skin and leave it looking more refined and radiant. HydraFacial has also been proven to diminish the appearance of fine lines over time when done in a series.
It is recommended that clients have a HydraFacial monthly to yield the best results and to keep skin at its healthiest. Think of it as taking your skin to the gym!

At New Image Laser Skin Center, we have experienced that proper skincare helps immensely when keeping your skin healthy and wrinkle-free. Lasers and facial fillers like Juvederm®, Perlane®, or Restylane® can help diminish or eliminate unwanted lines and wrinkles that are already there and Botox® and Dysport® can help prevent the development of lines and wrinkles; but a good skincare regimen is one of your greatest tools in healthy and graceful aging.
We will work with you to find the best combination of treatment and products to rejuvenate your skin. In addition to SkinMedica cleansers and toners, below are products that we often recommend to clients looking to fight lines and wrinkles.
- SkinMedica TNS Essential Serum
- SkinMedica TNS Recovery Complex
- SkinMedica Vitamin C+E Complex
- SkinMedica Retinol Complex
- SkinMedica Dermal Repair Cream
UV damage is most often the root cause of wrinkles; the sun is the number one enemy of collagen. Rays from the sun speed up the break down of collagen and decrease the elasticity of skin leaving sagging and wrinkled skin.
We start to lose collagen at approximately age 25 and then we lose 20% of our collagen each year. As we age and are exposed to the sun, we lose more collagen than our bodies can replace and wrinkles begin to appear.
At New Image Laser Skin Center, we work with our clients to find the best treatment plan that will help reduce, eliminate, and prevent the lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
Treatment options include; MicroLaser Peel/Profraction, Broadband Light (BBL), Botox®, facial fillers like Juvederm®, and SkinMedica and Alastin physician grade skincare.
